That's the entire control scheme. There's no keyboard input, no complex combos — just one action: press and hold to grow the stick, then release to drop it.
Your goal is simple: get your stickman across as many gaps as possible without falling. Each successful crossing earns one point. The platforms vary in width and distance, so the challenge ramps up as you progress.
If your stick is too short, the stickman walks off the edge into the void. If it's too long, it overshoots past the platform. Precision is the name of the game.
The stick grows at a constant speed while you hold down. The growth rate stays the same throughout the game — what changes is the gap width between platforms, forcing you to adapt your timing on the fly.
Platforms range from very wide (forgiving) to extremely narrow (pixel-perfect). Narrow platforms demand extraordinary precision and are worth the same score — but they keep the challenge alive.
The distance between platforms is randomized within a range. Early gaps tend to be moderate, but the game gradually introduces wider chasms that test even seasoned players.
One point per successful crossing. There are no bonus multipliers — the only metric is how many consecutive platforms you can reach. Your personal best is saved locally in your browser.
Instead of looking at the stick while it grows, fix your eyes on the far edge of the target platform. Your peripheral vision will "feel" the stick length more accurately than watching it head-on.
Expert players divide each hold into micro-increments. Rather than thinking "hold for about one second," they think "hold for three quick beats." This granular timing reduces variance dramatically.
When you realize the stick is growing too long, the instinct is to release immediately. But by then it's often too late. Instead, commit to your original read. Changing your mind mid-hold almost always results in a worse outcome.
There is no formal pause button. However, the game only advances when you interact — so you can simply stop clicking and take a break at any time between jumps.
No. The growth speed is constant. What changes is the gap size, which creates the illusion of increasing difficulty.
